When one thing is becoming another thing…I find that can be quite uncomfortable.
Even if I want the change to happen.
The transition involves letting go of the old thing and grasping the new thing at just the right moment.
Sometimes when ‘just the right moment’ is, is not clear at all.
That’s what I think is happening now.
I’m wanting to let go of something, but the new thing hasn’t quite swung into focus yet.
I’m concerned that holding onto the old thing is holding back the new thing…but I think this might just be a story I am telling myself.
Inventing the new thing is hard…but I am doing it.
I think what is tricky is that there is no one right way to make a transition.
The only thing that is certain is that there will be uncertainty.
