Dear Self,

I don’t know why I drew a picture of myself with an echidna on my head.

It feels right though.

So, who is this echidna?

He is shy and spectacular and is not sure if he wants to be seen but is not really able to hide that well given how he looks.

He is slow and a bit vulnerable but actually very safe because you don’t mess with those spines without being kind.

Yes, I guess I am carrying all of this around with me at the moment.

I’m making some big decisions about how I am in the world and I think my echidna is there to keep me company and give me a bit of confidence.

Who doesn’t love an echidna?
