I feel like a grateful turtle.
Everything seems to take so long, I feel like I’m not moving anywhere, but then I look up and I notice just how much the scenery has changed from a couple of years ago.
I look around and see that I am surrounded by the kind of people I want to be surrounded by.
I realise that if everything happened all at once that I might miss just how special it feels to hold the full weight of the love and kindness and support of my friends and family.
So, I am happy being a gratitude turtle moving slowly enough to see the sights along the way to where I am going.
