Eggshells piled up in the kitchen. Drawing Luke Hockley.
We don’t put our eggshells into the compost. They tend to take a long time to breakdown and that is frowned upon in our house.
However, at the studio, I have a special composting system that can take anything and so, at home, we rinse our eggshells and put them in a container on the sink to dry and then I take them to the studio to be super composted.
It seems simple enough…but more often than not the eggshells pile up and I forget to take them to their new home.
They are amongst a stack of dishes today. In general things get to a busy point where I can’t keep up with the administration of life…and I make excuses for myself, but it isn’t a good sign.
I am much happier if I make all these things happen. Otherwise they just become a burden to carry around everywhere.
And I’d rather not carry that stuff around me, if you know what I mean.
Love
Luke
